Iced tea at Chocolate Kiss Cafe in UP Diliman. Sure, it was a cold December when I took this photo, but these sweltering March days, this is already a necessity in helping keep things running cool.

A few days back we set up our very first full-size, brand new Christmas tree. The past years we’ve dealt with just a teeny (two-footer) Christmas tree. Now that we’re living in a more spacious place (and with extra funds to boot) we decided to decorate. And it helps liven up the mood, too.

A welcome sight for the hungry soul. This particular one taken along Katipunan Avenue a couple of years ago. I do believe it’s still there these days.

Cheese Cake

Cheese cake at Prioes Cafe and Restaurant in Fernwood Gardens, Quezon City, Metro Manila. Photo credit goes to my mother, but it was taken with my camera, so I guess it’s fair for me to use this here.
Oh, they didn’t bring me any dessert. Tsk.

Turrone at Friomixx

This was ordered at the Univ of Sto. Tomas branch (right in front of the hospital). Kids there have it great. They have a restaurant row! Anyway, this is a turrone, or in the vernacular turon, basically fried banana crepe. This one is sprinkled with peanuts, with chocolate syrup and a scoop of vanilla ice [...]
