It’s Christmas Time!

A few days back we set up our very first full-size, brand new Christmas tree. The past years we’ve dealt with just a teeny (two-footer) Christmas tree. Now that we’re living in a more spacious place (and with extra funds to boot) we decided to decorate. And it helps liven up the mood, too.

We placed the tree where Michael’s crib used to be. We know he’s in a happier place, and we’d like to be happy in his memory.

First came the unboxing. Wow. I never thought trees came in boxes!

Mistake #1 - we assembled the tree from top down, not from bottom up. That makes it harder to see the trunk part, where the branches are supposed to be inserted.

Still, it was fun.
